Lukas Perina – Sports Manager

Lukas Perina is a professional futsal player and soccer coach, currently pursuing his University degree at the Univerzita Palackého in Olomouc.

Born and raised in České Budějovice, Lukáš started his soccer journey with SK Dynamo České Budějovice, progressing from the first youth category U6 to securing a spot on the second team as a semi-professional soccer player. During this period, Lukáš was selected to the regional team between the ages of 12 and 15. At the age of 18, while playing in the youth highest Czech league, Dynamo introduced a new futsal team. Within two years, they qualified into the first league, sparking Lukáš’s interest in futsal. He quickly became an integral part of the team, showcasing his abilities and earning a place in the U19 Czech futsal national team. In 2022, he captained the team to the European Qualification U19 in Portugal, contributing significantly with his athletic abilities and leadership abilities.

Following mentioned successful chapter, Lukáš seized the opportunity to play for Wingate University in the United States, eager to gain insights into the American soccer landscape and further his academic pursuits in North Carolina. The university had an exceptional soccer program with a diversity of international players, where Lukáš played a role in winning the regular season in the South Atlantic Conference.

Concluding his enriching experience in the USA, Lukáš returned to the Czech Republic, signing with Helas Brno, one of the country’s top futsal teams, and rejoining the futsal national team. Simultaneously, he started his soccer coaching career at Sparta Brno, earning the role of head coach for U17 team and assistant coach for the U19 team.

Upon returning to the Czech Republic, Lukáš reconnected with his former mentor, who facilitated his journey to the United States. Now, he aspires to pay it forward by assisting other young athletes in securing similar life-changing opportunities and experiencing the world beyond their own.
