Ondřej Vencl

Ondřej Vencl is a former professional footballer who played in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria. He grew up in Pardubice, where he worked from the pre-school to the men's A-team, where he played for four years. He graduated from a sports high school and Masaryk University in Brno, majoring in coaching at the Faculty of Sports Studies.

After finishing in Pardubice in 2016, he headed to Slovakia, where he played for FC Nitra for two years. He then moved to Austria, where he played for SV Horn. After half a year he returned to the Czech Republic and in 2019 he started playing for MFK Chrudim, where he finished his professional career.

Now he is a fitness coach of FK Pardubice youth players and a personal fitness trainer at the Vektor sports centre. He also helps students and young athletes develop their careers in the USA, where he sees the best connection between sport and education.
