Mikkel Fodstad, originally from Høvik, Norway, grew up playing for Bærum SK and represented Oslo’s regional team. His development in Norway led him to the United States, where his college soccer journey took him through several programs, conferences, and locations across the country.

Mikkel began his college career at the University of Nebraska Omaha, where he was part of the team that reached the NCAA National Tournament in 2021. He later transferred to Saint Peter’s University in New Jersey, becoming the team’s leading goal scorer and graduating in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. He then continued at Rollins College in Florida, earning All-Conference Third Team honors while completing his master’s degree in Strategic Communication in 2025.

Through his time in Nebraska, New Jersey, and Florida, Mikkel gained a strong understanding of what it takes to adapt, compete, and grow as an international student-athlete. At USAK, he works closely with players from Scandinavia, helping them navigate the recruiting process and prepare for college soccer in the United States. His goal is to help young athletes access the same life-changing experience he had, one that shapes them as players, students, and people.
