Martin Chládek
Martin Chládek, a master's degree student at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport (FTVS) at Charles University, was born in the USA, but spent most of his life in the Czech Republic, where he played for the SK Motorlet Prague soccer club. After graduating, he decided to use his American citizenship and traveled to the United States to combine soccer with his studies. First, he played for two years at the University of Montevallo in the NCAA DII, where he became the team captain and led the team to a conference victory. He then continued at Rider University in the NCAA Division I level, where he again wore the captain's armband and won another conference title and helped the team reach the NCAA national tournament. After graduating, he returned to the Czech Republic, where he continues his soccer career with SK Motorlet Prague and is currently pursuing his master's degree to become a strength and conditioning coach.
